1．棋盘四季棋棋盘是8×8的正方形棋盘，含有64个方格式棋位（亦可采用交点式棋位）。2.棋子双方棋子共4枚，外形扁圆，棋面符号分别为春、夏、秋、冬4字。其中春、夏2枚棋子由甲方使用，秋、冬2枚棋子由乙方使用。

The domino game is played by dragging tiles to the matching marker to play. Markers are semi-transparent and should glow green when a matching tile is placed over the marker.

3.棋规布子。开局前一次性布子，春、夏、秋、冬各枚棋子分别布于棋盘4角，依次按顺时针方向排练。走子。布子以后双方轮流走子，走子方式如下：每方每着棋走动1枚可走动的己方棋子。沿纵向或横向直行，方向不限，在通常情况下行走距离不限，但是中途不准转弯，也不准跳越其他棋子。春夏秋冬四季交替，但是春秋不会相遇，冬夏也不会相遇。与这一自然现象相似，四季棋规定春字棋子行进时不得穿越秋字棋子所在的行（纵向各格）和列（横向各格），反之亦然。同理，冬和夏之间也不得相互穿越所在的行和列。春与冬夏之间、秋与冬夏之间不受此限，夏与春秋之间、冬与春秋之间亦不受此限，夏与春秋之间、冬与春秋之间亦不受此限。如果春字在穿越秋字所在的行或列时，与秋字之间有其他棋子遮挡，则可以穿越。反之亦然。同理，冬夏之间也按此规定类推。终局及胜负判定。随着对局过程的继续，终于有一方再也无法按规定走子，至此终局，判另一方获胜。
